A few times a year, romance authors come together for online book fairs and events. These are fantastic opportunities to find new authors, snag exclusive deals, and sometimes even chat directly with writers. I’ll update this space when I’m participating in group promotions or when there’s a particularly great event coming up that I think you’ll enjoy.
Where I Go to Find Great Books
When I’m looking for my next read, these are the tools I actually use:
BookBub – Sign up for their free daily emails and tell them you love contemporary romance. You’ll get notifications about discounted and free romance books that match what you like. It’s how I’ve discovered some of my favorite authors.
Goodreads – The romance community here is incredible. You can search by specific tropes (fake dating, anyone?), read reviews from actual readers, and get recommendations based on books you’ve already loved.
StoryGraph – This one’s newer but really cool. You can filter by mood, pace, and specific romance elements. Want a slow-burn romance with lots of banter? They’ve got you covered.
Join the Conversation
Romance readers are some of the most welcoming, enthusiastic people you’ll ever meet online. There are tons of Facebook groups dedicated to romance recommendations (just search “romance book recommendations” and you’ll find active communities). Reddit’s r/RomanceBooks is another goldmine for finding exactly what you’re craving.
